Welcome to The Bambanani Project!

In the SiSwati language, "bambanani" means to hold or support one another when working towards a better future. In this spirit, Caring for Shiselweni (NGO) and The Bambanani Project seek to empower rural women and men in the Shiselweni region of Swaziland by providing skills training in business, handicrafts, and health, and by providing them with a sustainable source of income.

Since our inception in March 2010, we have provided training in entrepreneurship and business management, handicrafts, and basic health issues to 40 men and women in the southern region of Swaziland, and we'll be expanding our outreach dramatically in the coming months.
